Selective trimming carries the advantage of a donor site which can not be made out by family, friends and colleagues.
The disadvantages of selective trimming are that it exerts a limit on harvest of grafts more than 1500. Also, in the recipient area high density cannot be given since with existing long hair does not allow for close placement of grafts.
